The mission of the Platform Product Group engineers is to build a trusted, scalable and compliant platform to operate with speed, efficiency and quality. Our teams build and maintain the platforms critical to the existence of Coinbase. There are many teams that make up this group which include Product Foundations (i.e. Identity, Payment, Risk, Proofing & Regulatory, Finhub), Machine Learning, Customer Experience, and Infrastructure.

The Infrastructure org is responsible for the systems and processes that allow the rest of Coinbase Engineering to write, build, test, deploy, and operate the many services and components that make up our products. The Cloud Provisioning team within Developer Experience is responsible for the systems and processes that allow the rest of Coinbase Engineers to provision infrastructure to run the many services that power Coinbase products in a simple, safe and secure manner.

What you’ll be doing (i.e. job duties):

• Learn, build, improve, and maintain cloud provisioning services written in Golang and Terraform.

• Design scalable, fault-tolerant solutions to novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.

• Work with engineers and leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.

• Provide stellar customer support to our internal engineers on cloud provisioning.

What we look for in you:

• You have at least 2+ years of experience in software engineering.

• You’ve designed, built, scaled, and maintained backend services and infrastructure.

• You write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers.

• You have experience in IaC (Infrastructure as Code).

• Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify problems, determine their root cause, and see them through to solution.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also includetarget bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay Range:

$147,900—$174,000 USD
