Responsibilities

We are seeking a Sr. Manager, QA to join a team of highly skilled quality assurance testing team to revolutionize the way technology is used within surgery centers across the country.

This position is primarily responsible for:

  • Manage QA testing team (internal and outsourced) providing advice, guidance, and direction to carry out QA testing plans and procedures effectively

  • Key responsibilities include QA testing delivery across multiple SCA projects

  • Spearhead and coordinate QA testing activities in estimation, governance, and delivery of SCA projects

  • Develop test case development and execution estimation tracker and provide refined estimates across multiple SCA projects

  • Support leadership during planning sessions, providing QA estimates based on complexity of applications and QA deliverable rates using limited scope

  • Oversee QA team’s hand-on/offs process on daily basis, supporting and guiding the continuous QA delivery

  • Drive to deliver QA testing deliverables in-alignment with project schedule with the highest quality

  • Custodian to validate time entries and time charging for all QA resources across SCA projects and ensure the team’s chargeability is precise with the plan

  • Responsible to provide performance updates and career development for direct reports , share feedback, course corrections, coaching, mentoring and resource time tracking

  • Conduct periodic assessment with direct reports and realignment of goals, skills, and work passions focused on career development

  • Collaborate and work effectively with different technology teams and vendors delivering complete QA testing support for all SCA projects

  • Summarize and report QA testing metrics to leadership team viz., plan versus actuals, test coverage, test execution, defect resolution and root cause, critical defect percentage, postproduction defect analysis, deferred defect percentages reports

  • Work with QA lead and team members to resolve testing issues impacting the QA deliverables

  • Oversee and peer review test plans and test suites for multiple SCA projects and propose IT best practices

  • Responsible to ensure that all QA test data are sanitized and free from PII and PHI breach

  • Socialize QA strategy, QA Test plans, and ensure that best practices are implemented and are adhered

  • Activity participates in scum meeting and provide, refine QA estimations

  • Work diligently with leadership and project managers to ensure that QA deliverables are on track for the delivery dates, forecast risks and mitigation plans as needed

  • Lead the QA team through test automation evolution and define test automation strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technology related fields

  • 7+ years of expertise in QA testing and experienced in test planning, leading, and implementing QA process

  • 3-4 years of managing and supervising experience both employees and contractors

  • 5+ years of hosting and coordinating QA activities between business, IT team and offshore/nearshore teams

  • 5+ years of experience in requirements analysis/ user stories, writing, executing test cases within Azure Dev Ops

  • 4 + years of experience in Microsoft Azure Test plan and test management, and experienced in deploying code via pipelines

  • 4 years of hands-on test automation experience in selenium or open-source automation tools and establishing QA test automation for QA projects

  • 5 years of defect management, defect triaging, defect remediation and root cause reporting

  • 3 years of experience in test traceability, ensuring requirements to functional deliveries

  • Demonstrate experience with Agile, hybrid-agile and waterfall methodologies.
