Leidos is seeking an accomplished Project Manager with the proven ability to successfully execute highly complex, multi-disciplinary projects across multiple geographic locations.
The successful candidate will serve as the Leidos Project Manager responsible for managing a project team focused on providing cutting-edge Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft System (C-sUAS) capabilities to our customer by executing hardware, software, and site activation projects.

In support of the Program Manager, the individual will lead the team involved with integrating data from existing C-sUAS infrastructure, radars, and sensors at various locations/sites and make the data available via a User Interface in an Operations Center environment. The position will have responsibility for planning, tracking, and execution of complex tasking within technical, schedule, and budget constraints. The program involves diverse technology areas including command and control and system integration. The position will have responsibility for the oversight of the design/development, integration, test, and fielding/site installation of an initial Common Operating Picture capability. The Project Manager is responsible for delivering the technical scope on the project within the cost and schedule constraints agreed to by the Leidos PM and the customer.

Responsibilities include:
Leads, manages and integrates day to day execution of project activities for experienced professionals in accordance with requirements and ensures technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance
Defines project baseline then executes the program to comply with baseline requirements
Identifies risks, developing mitigation strategies, and facilitating resolutions
Maintains organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
Champions performance excellence and continuous service improvement
Manages within matrixed workforce environment with ability to communicate effectively in obtaining and synthesizing requirements from external stakeholders, while working with the team to implement new technical solutions leveraging advanced concepts
Influence the development of solutions that impact strategic program goals.
Provide leadership and oversight of subcontractors and vendors.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 8 years of prior relevant experience OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
Must possess and maintain active DoD Secret clearance or above to be considered for role. (US Citizenship required)
Experience managing teams of engineers, including mentoring and fostering communication and collaboration across the team
Experience managing IT projects for the DoD or other U.S. Government agencies
Proven ability to execute projects effectively, including management of staffing, schedule, and cost
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and a strong problem-solving mindset
Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with C-sUAS sensors and effectors
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Cameo System Modeler
Experience with Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA)
Experience implementing agile methodologies
Project management certification or previous experience

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
