CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for an IT Project Manager IV .

Job Title: IT Project Manager IV
Location: Remote, located near Charlotte, NC, or Corning, NY is preferred, but not required - Travel once per quarter
Pay Rate: $50.00/hour to $70.00/hour
Work Hours: M-F 8 am - 5 pm
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree or certifications a plus)
Travel Requirements:
- Requesting resources to be onshore, able to travel to various locations including Charlotte, NC, Corning, NY, and possibly Reynosa, MX. Travel may be required 1-2 times per quarter, typically for no more than 5 days.

Description:
The IT Project Manager IV will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing project plans, maintaining project documentation, and employing Agile methodologies to optimize project outcomes. The Project Manager will also be responsible for establishing effective communication plans for stakeholders and ensuring project deliverables are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of IT projects, ensuring they align with the project goals, timelines, and budgets.
Employ Agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle to ensure continuous improvement and optimization of processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders and development teams, to facilitate effective collaboration and communication.
Develop and maintain project schedules, financial tracking, risk management plans, and project documentation.
Ensure all quality processes are followed and all necessary artifacts are maintained within project repositories.
Act as a servant leader to team members, facilitating progress and resolving technical or operational challenges.
Communicate frequently with stakeholders, sponsors, and end users to understand their needs and ensure the project delivers value to the business.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management, particularly in IT and software development projects.
Strong understanding of business and operational processes.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively.
PMP certification is required (Please include certification number and active dates on your resume).
Skills & Certifications Desired:
7+ years of prior experience as a Program Manager with domain experience.
5+ years of direct supervisory experience of virtual teams.
Familiarity with Agile tools such as Kanban Boards, JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, or Planview.
Experience with Digital Transformation and automating project management processes.
Scrum/Agile Certified.
Domain certifications in areas such as SAP, SFDC, Cybersecurity, Manufacturing Engineering Systems, or IT Infrastructure.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $$50.00/hour to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on various factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and certifications. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is offered.
