Nvidia Field Application Engineer in Remote, Texas

We are now looking for a Field Applications Engineer:

This Field Applications Engineering role is for a junior to an expert engineer who is knowledgeable in system design, networking, and enterprise computing. We need a technical leader for our customers who believe that artificial intelligence, data science, digital twins, and graphics visualization are a new computing revolution and have the potential to transform industries.

NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding FAE with a focus on system design for enterprise computing. You will use your interpersonal skills and technical knowledge to provide design-in support for NVIDIA products in enterprise systems. You will be working multi-functionally with our organizations to ensure a positive experience for external customers. You should be comfortable working in a complex environment and have experience working with stand-alone and distributed systems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be a technical specialist on GPU computing and networking products directly supporting sales account managers, working closely with the team to secure design wins.

  • Actively establish the technical relationship with our customer’s engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.

  • Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the AI/HPC market.

  • Provide onsite support to solve problems in hardware and software.

  • Lead the support of the product through the design-in phase to product end of life.

  • Create technical solutions such as hardware & software demos and example system designs.

  • Provide technical and sales training to, engineering, direct sales, and customer support teams.

  • Establish positive relationships and communication channels with internal teams.

    What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of work-related experience in high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.

  • Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.

  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a multifaceted environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.

    Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • NVIDIA GPU and Networking development or support experience.

  • Hardware design and knowledge of PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, SATA, and ethernet.

  • Experience working with OEMs in the enterprise data center domain.

  • Datacenter networking, Virtualization, Deep Learning, and/or AI experience.

  • Advanced degree

The base salary range is 104,000 USD - 201,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
