Required Experienced:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of testing experience in database side and Reports.
5+ years of Experience in SQL Server 2016 or higher version and SQL Server Management Studio SSMS
Experience in JIRA
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
Exposure to Agile Development, SCRUM is preferred
Experience with cross-platform compatibility is a huge plus
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Will be required to possess or successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), and an FBI Criminal History Check.
The Quality Check (QC) Analyst role will provide support to the operations of the Energy Compensation System (ECS), Division of Energy Employee Occupational Illness Compensation while providing expertise in software Testing. This role will work within the Reporting Team and will focus on the interpretation of the Application’s underlying database model & data relationships, performing data testing, and working with business users and analysts to QC the Reports, while validating, defining and streamlining of the Reporting Requirements as they relate to the Application’s Business Processes & Rules.
Responsibilities:
• Supports the program as a liaison to internal customers, research groups and various business support areas.
• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
• Perform Testing to written technical specifications
• Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects
• Create, document, and implements test plans, and test documents
• Perform testing on Excel, UI or Script driven data for customer
• Performs related duties as assigned
• Knowledge of database and work experience with SQL programming with at least one of DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Must possess a solid foundation in PL/SQL Programming Language and experience.
• Ability to write scripts to prove the test cases and validate the data.
• Ability to interpret/understand written requirements and technical specification documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with both a technical and non-technical audience.
• Able to adapt to change and work independently, as well as with a team.
• Detail-oriented and meets strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of SQL Scripts in Mandatory.
• Excel Knowledge is additionally required.
