Novant Health Integration Project Manager III - ASC in Remote, North Carolina

Overview

The Integration Project Manager II is responsible for all aspects of assigned larger projects that are moderate to highly complex throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to final implementation using effective project management practices. This includes leading multi-disciplinary teams which include all levels of personnel, vendors, and clients, in the creation and deployment of a Novant Health strategic solution associated with the investment in business growth, enterprise standardization, transitions resulting from affiliations, constructions, start up, mergers/acquisitions and other assigned projects. The Integration Project Manager II will also have ownership of directing, facilitating, and managing the change control process which includes scope change, budget change, schedule change, and overall performance of project. The Integration Project Manager II will be responsible for driving change from the business perspective and therefore impact Novant Health’s organizational culture. Must have effective communication, relationship management and overall knowledge of system and departmental capabilities/functions.

For Novant Health Enterprise, ASC:

Integration Project Manager III (PM III) is responsible for integration of new ASCs into Novant Health’s portfolio, and for maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. The PM III will collaborate closely with the ASC Operations, Design and Construction, Real Estate, and other key stakeholders to build and execute work plans for a timely, successful launch.

Applicants can be located anywhere in NC. Will also consider candidates in the Coastal SC area. There will be occassional travel and the requirement to attend on-site meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. In business, healthcare, project management, or a related field.

  • Experience: Five plus years in complex project management, preferably in healthcare, required. Minimum of 3 years leadership experience managing affiliate transitions, mergers, acquisitions, and/or large-scale organizational projects required.

  • Additional Skills (required):

  • · Leads in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proven ability to coordinate, manage, and achieve project success through time management, follow through and tracking as appropriate. Ability to effectively communicate with people across organizational charts and structures. Serves as lead resource for project management, mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, and disruptive business change. Action oriented, willing to do what is needed in order to move projects forward in an organized manner with consistent execution. Act as a catalyst to resolve project issues and conflicts encountered by team members. Proficient in MicroSoft Office software including, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. MicroSoft Project, Visio, and Access, a plus. Relationship management skills that include listening and consultative abilities, as well as the ability to establish credible relationships with business partners to drive change. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.· For Novant Health Enterprise, ASC, also includes the following requirements: · Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale clinical operations, with a focus on project management and strategic planning· Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical and administrative personnel· Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across the organization or third parties· Ability to exercise high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making in order to achieve desired goals and objectives· Inspiring leader who thrives in a matrix organization and has experience leading teams across facilities and geographies· Operates with a start-up mentality and brings initiative, resourcefulness, and analytical rigor· Experience in fostering innovation and leading change management initiatives within a healthcare setting, driving operational transformation and operational excellence· Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, quality assurance, and performance metrics
