As the Strategic Account Executive, you will own and drive the sales strategy for the entire GE Healthcare portfolio for a select group of key strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with executive-level healthcare stakeholders within assigned accounts to identify qualified leads, grow market share, increase revenue, and reduce customer attrition.

  • Deliver on quarterly & annual orders and revenue sales targets; maximize profit margin on equipment and service contract sales.

  • Leverage knowledge of customers’ strategic goals, market position, and budget to develop offerings that deliver greater value to the customer, driving funnel growth for the region.

  • Demonstrate expertise in customers’ installed base and develop technology & capital plans that map with their annual budget process.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the customer’s profile and goals including financials, service line strategies, expansion plans, pain points and stakeholder map.

  • Lead the account community team in aligning GE solutions with the customers priorities and long-term plans that align with a mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Understand the specific goals of Academic institutions and leverage GE leadership to support long-term relationships in these accounts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience selling into health systems and/or hospitals and/or healthcare executive experience in leading a healthcare organization

  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers

  • Experience in account management and planning

  • Experience leading through influence and working in a matrix environment

  • Familiarity with healthcare economics and hospital financials

  • Natural curiosity for clinical outcomes and technology; interest in Academic hospitals

  • Must live in the territory and be willing to travel within the territory. Maryland/Washington DC market.

  • 10% overnights
