Job Description Summary
We require someone for our GE Corporate Holdings Controllership team to support wing to wing operational accounting processes including closing, reporting, compliance for both US GAAP and local statutory entities as well as treasury initiatives. Support data collection and analysis for team projects. Drive process improvement.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Partner with the Trailing COE Controller to execute on accounting initiatives, including cross functional process development with the wider Capital community: Treasury, Tax, Legal, etc.
Reporting and closing responsibilities, including but not limited to creating and posting journals, data extraction and analysis
Assist in the consolidation and reporting activities
Account reconciliations
Other ad hoc projects that may be required.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with prior finance or accounting experience or extensive finance or accounting experience or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly Detailed Oriented
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent organization skills
Strong Analytical Skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Ireland.
