finova Software Development Engineer In Test in Remote, India

Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) About you:

  • Strong knowledge of Selenium and other test frameworks - (BDD & Cucumber)

  • Strong C# knowledge with some JavaScript experience.

  • API testing with Rest Assured or Postman

  • Performance testing with JMeter or equivalent

  • Great communication skills - you will be speaking with and presenting to your team members, internal stakeholders.

  • Experience working and leading junior team members within an Agile environment

  • Passionate about IT and new technologies

  • Adaptable – Willing to use varied technical tools and perform various testing tasks depending on requirements.

  • Working knowledge of Azure

  • Experience with security testing-nice to have but not essential

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain automation frameworks, Web Services/API, Performance & Accessibility test frameworks with DevOps CI/CD.

  • Propose solutions to clients and internal stakeholders, when needed.

  • Define and update high-quality, reusable automated tests according to a projected schedule

  • Perform general functional and non-functional testing activities.

  • Perform exploratory and automation activities throughout the product release process.

  • Debugging and triaging defects with both automated testing solutions and applications under test.

  • Ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in the defect tracking system.

  • Participating in code reviews ensuring deliver the product to the agreed level of quality.

  • Define and update high-quality, reusable automated tests according to a projected schedule.

  • Work closely with developers, Junior test engineers and cross functional scrum team members to increase the test coverage and reduce the test bottlenecks.

  • Update and maintain regression suites as the products evolve.
