The Role
In this role, the Stock Controller has responsibility for monitoring and reporting on all inventory movements across the Fulfilment Centres, Raw Material & 3PL Warehouses. The role will be key to driving our strategy to develop and strengthen the processes and systems that manage our stock.
Naturecan
With a wide network of business activities ranging from producers of CBD distillate in America, to trading locations and Warehouses around the world, Naturecan is a business with a lot of stock movements. This brings with it significant logistical and tracking considerations, but also complexity in our costing mechanism.
Medcan
Medcan Holdco Ltd is a subsidiary of Naturecan Limited and is in turn a parent company for a number of different subsidiaries. With activities range from importing, to wholesale supply, to lead generation, to operating clinics, the movement of stock is incredibly varied and requires careful tracking and consideration.
With the following main responsibilities
Help to maintain and improve the existing perpetual inventory program.
Design and embed new processes to capture untracked stock movements
Help to maintain reporting of accurate stock levels across the business, contributing to minimising stock loss and damage to agreed company metrics.
Maintain stock AVCO calculations
Design and produce stock leakage calculations & reporting
Determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory systems, identify route cause and implement measures to ensure accuracy.
Build and maintain location specific demand & capacity plans liaising with the Trading & Buying teams. Conduct feasibility studies as required.
Regular analysis and communication to the wider business of stock performance.
Work with Replen Manager to enhance Replen modelling to refine replen volume and frequency
Work with Replen Manager to enhance BBE and low stock reporting
Develop effective working relationships with the key departments in the business.
Share and explain stock volume and costing information with Group auditors & answering auditor queries.
Drive and execute a continuous improvement program.
Calculating yield / monitoring final output levels / variance analysis based on distillate concentrations / monitoring wastage
Keeping batch records of finished goods and distillate
Production of daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
Previous management experience in an Inventory role
Good attention for detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
Strong problem solving skills
Previous experience of Warehouse Management Systems, warehouse stock processes and stock compliance regulations.
Calm under pressure and used to working in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organised and excellent verbal, written and numerical skills.
Advanced IT skills - specifically Excel with ability to report and use analytical tools.
Previous e-commerce experience.
