BECU Digital Analyst in Remote, Arizona

PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $100,900.00-$123,200.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $78,400.00 - $145,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE

As a Digital Analyst at BECU, you will transform raw data into meaningful insights, empowering strategic decisions across the organization. Your expertise in crafting dynamic dashboards, performing in-depth ad hoc analyses, and collaborating with stakeholders will drive digital growth and optimization. By making complex data accessible and actionable, you’ll ensure BECU’s digital initiatives not only meet but exceed expectations, enhancing the member experience and contributing to our continued success.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop Dynamic Dashboards: Create and maintain dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau to provide stakeholders with actionable insights and visualized data. Present findings to various audience sizes as needed.

  • Perform Ad Hoc Analysis: Respond to stakeholder inquiries with detailed, data-driven analyses that address specific business questions.

  • Collaborate with User Experience Teams: Identify user interaction challenges, evaluate proposed enhancements, and provide analytical feedback on solutions to improve digital usability.

  • Support Key Data Initiatives: Partner with team members to advance division-wide data projects and enhance overall digital capabilities.

  • Utilize Advanced Data Tools: Leverage tools like Alteryx to connect data sets from the data warehouse, enabling integration with data visualization platforms.

  • Drive Digital Optimization: Conduct ad hoc analyses of A/B experiments, identifying winning variations and recommending optimization strategies.

  • Participate in Peer Reviews: Review team members’ analyses and dashboards to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Ensure Data Governance: Assist the Digital Analytics Manager with data validation efforts and support governance practices to maintain data integrity.

  • Contribute to Digital Growth: Provide feedback and strategic insights to support BECU’s digital initiatives and enhance decision-making processes.

  • Take on Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support team objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work-related experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital or web analytics, including expertise in Google Analytics and data visualization tools.

  • Proven experience in manipulating and integrating data sets using SQL or tools such as Tableau Prep and Alteryx.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to remain informed about events, trends, and developments impacting digital channels.

  • Proficient in leveraging data visualization tools to create actionable insights and drive decision-making.

  • Skilled in team collaboration and engagement with leadership to achieve shared goals.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver impactful presentations and provide strategic recommendations.

D esired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and statistical analysis is preferred.

  • Experience working with artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) programs is preferred.
