CACI is seeking a ServiceNow Development Deputy Team Lead to assist the Dev Team Lead in overseeing technical resources delivering services supporting a cyber incident reporting and tracking system. As the Deputy Development Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for working with our DHS customer, helping to create solutions, as well as oversight, direction and management of a complex development effort.

More About the Role:

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide active, hands-on leadership to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met

  • Own the Business analyst, Project management, Scrum Master and Testing team’s output. Foster improvement, guide and teach methodology, influence pride and quality of work

  • Manage the demand-to-project process using the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management application—review pending demands; obtain additional details; coordinate with demand manager, work with DHS customer to qualify and prioritize projects assigned to the Scrum Team

  • Oversee individual projects and tasks from identification of requirements, analysis and design, development, end-user testing, deployment, and production support.

  • Supervise the project management team members: Business Analysts, Scrum Master and Quality Assurance Engineers

  • Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its offerings

  • Identify areas of improvement for the various team processes, provide solutions and see them through to completion. Repeat as necessary with a Continual Service Improvement (CSI) mindset.

  • Coordinate with Project manager, Scrum Master, and Dev Team lead to ensure objectives for day-to-day tasks and projects are resourced appropriately

  • Be a point of escalation for our customer; helping to remove obstacles and provide/find solutions when needed

  • Function as a liaison to the DHS customer and functional leads across the program

  • Ensure DHS-defined project governance standards are implemented and adhered to for each project and task

  • Report and brief schedule updates/status to CACI leadership and Government Stakeholders.

  • Develop scheduling status reports, digests, and summaries for various meetings and/or for customer deliverables.

  • Be proactive, think like a customer. Provide regular and timely updates to customers and management.

  • Liaison between developers and project stakeholders, and foster quality communication between disciplines.

  • Document and manage all issues and risks, developing and maintaining a risk register and mitigation plan.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD)

  • BA + 8 years’ applicable experience, or 14 years’ experience

  • Previous experience managing ServiceNow agile teams

  • Experience managing in Agile scrum environment, coaching and leading

  • Attention to detail and resourcefulness

  • Experience using Kanban boards and agile methodologies

  • Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong Microsoft Office experience

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Previous DHS or DoD experience

  • Any of the following certifications is highly desired:

  • SAFe Agile

  • CompTIA Security+ Certified Scrum Master

  • ITIL Foundation

  • Other IT technical certifications

  • PMP

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
