The central purchasing department is responsible for the strategtic development of the complete supplier portfolio at Vitesco Technologies. We negotiate prices, purchase quantities, contracts, etc. Our purchasing portfolio includes different types of passive components, such as capacitors, resistors and coils. Our target is to forsee and respond to challenges and changes on the market and always remain competitivitiy in the field of passive components and Emobility. You get the chance to work in a supportive multi-national team, be part of international and well-organized company and are able to learn what really goes on in the world of purchasing and supplier management.

Your Mission:

⚡️ Supporting projects in purchasing

⚡️ Supporting the sourcing process for new business (inquiries, offers, decision template)

⚡️ Participate in communication with suppliers and internal decision making

⚡️ Contract and data management

⚡️ Organize and participate in supplier meetings

⚡️ Data analysis and preparation of various templates and files

Your Talents:

⚡️ Studies in the field of business informatics, industrial engineering, economics or a comparable field of study

⚡️ Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel

⚡️ Knowledge of Power BI, Knime and databases desirable

⚡️ Very good English skills written and spoken

⚡️ Great problem solving and analytical thinking skills, effective communication skills and a willingness to learn

⚡️ Be a Strong teamplayer and be able to work in a fast-paced enviroment with constant new challenges

After the internship, we offer the possibility of a final thesis within the company.
