POSITION SUMMARY: Manage the maintenance operations in a safe and productive manner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage and assure adherence to operating policies and procedures to ensure plant performance goals, safe work practices and quality standards are achieved. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.

· Meet maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems.

· Maintain function and reliability of facility systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative component and parts.

· Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems

· Use break-down analysis to build a predictive maintenance system

· Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Maintenance activities

· Optimize maintenance resources to improve service, reduce cost and ensure timely product delivery to obtain goals.

· Hire, train, and manage performance of assigned employees within the requirements of the company.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Lead the PEAK EFO PAC

All job functions to be completed in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, company guidelines and policies.

REPORTS TO: Plant Manager

REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION LEVEL:

Required: Associates degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Facility Management, or related field

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Facilities Management, or related field.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Required: Minimum of five years related manufacturing experience in a leadership position within a high-volume production environment and five years of supervisory experience.

Preferred: Experience in the maintenance of plastic molding, Statistical Process Control, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Automated Assembly and packaging.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:

· Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.

· Ability to lead in a team environment and supervise the operation of ERP systems by direct reports to assure effective execution of inventory management and maintenance reporting activities.

· Skilled in communicating effectively (verbal, written, listening) with a variety of individuals.

· Skilled in reading, interpreting, applying and explaining laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

· Skilled in prioritizing, organizing and managing multiple projects.

· Skilled in providing customer service.

· Knowledge of plastic injection and blow molding, assembly and packaging operations, and robotic automation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

· Ability to stand/walk up to 75% of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds

· Must be able to frequently bend and twist and have unrestricted use of upper extremities

· Push/Pull up to 200 pounds of force
