Responsibilities
This position delivers the highest possible quality care to outpatients and their families through the use of the nursing process such as assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. This position effectively interacts with the patients their families and health care team members prior to the procedures and involves teaching and pre-operative testing including but not limited to IV starts, blood draws, EKGs, and history taking. When necessary, the staff nurse would assist in the following procedures but are not limited to percutaneous biopsy, bronchoscopy, stress echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, cardioversions, CT's, MRI's, and any procedure requiring sedation and analgesia or contrast injection.
The position takes direction from Radiologists, Cardiologists and other physicians as well as CV Lab Manager. In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the (patient care job title) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities, seek guidance when in doubt, promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations and when requested, assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation. When called upon, the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity
leaders to implement, monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Two years of recent critical care experience required.
This position requires a clinically competent professional nurse who possesses a valid California license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Current certification in Basic Life Support (CT BLS) from American Heart Association
Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (CT ACLS) from American Heart Association
Completion of annual safety training.
Completes and maintains required unit specific training.
Pay Range
$82.51 - $109.92 /hour
