Robert Half Operations Analyst / Reporting Specialist in Redwood City, California
Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Analyst / Reporting Specialist to join our team. This role is full time, hybrid temporary to potential permanent placement that will focus on portfolio accounting, data reconciliation, and reporting, using Tamarac software to generate accurate performance data, produce 1099 forms, and assist with tax-related projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing complex data, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining financial data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Accounting: Manage and analyze portfolio data to ensure accuracy in performance reporting, including running and verifying performance data.
Data Reconciliation: Reconcile financial data across various platforms and reports, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Reporting: Produce 1099 forms and any supplemental reporting data as needed. Assist with other tax-related projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Software Utilization: Utilize TAMARAC software platform for reporting, billing, and trading, ensuring all processes are followed within the platform's capabilities.
Attention to Detail: Review data, reports, and reconciliations meticulously, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure seamless data flow, assist with reporting needs, and support any operational improvements.
Onsite two days per week (Tues & Thurs) in Redwood City
Requirements
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in portfolio accounting and performance data management.
Experience with data reconciliation processes and ensuring the integrity of financial data.
Familiarity with TAMARAC software or similar platforms is required.
Ability to produce tax-related reports, including 1099 forms and supplemental data.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in financial services or investment management.
Knowledge of tax reporting and compliance.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in an operations or reporting analyst role for 2+ years.
