About the Position: This position is located at AMCOM LOGISTICS CENTER, SUPPLY CHAIN MGMT DIR AWCF-AVN, DEMAND PLANNING DIR, REDSTONE ARSENAL, AL Responsibilities Develops internal administrative processes and procedures, preparing, reviewing and maintaining a variety of mission related documents, reports and initiating and monitoring internal office budget actions. Reads and interprets directives and instructional material pertaining to administrative and clerical procedures. Prepares organization's annual operating budget estimates and required justifications by compiling data from historical records. Reviews all incoming correspondence and assigns action and outgoing correspondence ensure accuracy in accordance with applicable administrative regulations. Interprets command policies and procedures dealing with automated information/data management and assists in developing of office policies and procedures. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) reading and interpreting directives and instructional material pertaining to administrative and clerical procedures AND/OR (2) establishing controls to monitor expenses and recommends budget adjustments AND/OR (3) serving as the principal office administrator on all office information systems using office automation applications, databases, and various software packages to accomplish work assignments AND/OR (4) composing memoranda and correspondence from notes furnished, checking accuracy of and completing references and prepare routine correspondence from brief instructions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Applies Technology to Tasks Customer Service (Clerical/Technical) Manages and Organizes Information Reasoning (Clerical/Technical) Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
