About the Position: Serves as a Management Analyst in the US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), with responsibility for analyzing, evaluating, developing, advising on, and promoting the AMCOM's Manpower and Organization and Mission Programs. Responsibilities Performs management studies and surveys which are highly complex in nature, comprehensive in scope and impact across organizational lines. Typical studies involve organizations, functions, or work processes that interrelate extensively with others. Assures adequacy and completeness of all applicable Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) input and completeness of documentation. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of DA, Headquarters AMC and AMCOM policies on organization, and associated management concepts and provides guidance to organization officials on such matters. Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service which includes (1) knowledge of the principle and theories of management and organizational techniques, (2) completeness of Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDAs) changes for manpower management and (3) organization and mission staffing standards to coordinate work efforts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Specialized Experience GS-11: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes (1) knowledge of the principle and theories of management and organizational techniques and (2) assisting with the completeness of Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDAs) changes for manpower management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
