Chenega Corporation Armed Security Guard in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama

Summary

The Armed Security Guard personnel will be responsible for providing security services at a U.S. Government location.

Responsibilities

  • Will carry out general and special orders for post assigned; conduct roving patrols to prevent installation breaches and other OPSEC or security-related tasks.

  • Will communicate via radio, telephone, and orally according to

  • Required to interact with public and government

  • Will provide access control and conduct walking armed security functions.

  • Will be responsible for the cleanliness of uniform and equipment

  • Will follow applicable standard operating procedures and government regulations pertaining to the security of weapons, buildings, personnel, government property, and

  • Will conduct personnel, building, & facility checks and package & parcel

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the S. Department of Education.

  • Speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent verbal and written reports in

  • Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security

  • Active Secret

  • Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 S.C. 922

  • Must be at least 21 years of

  • Minimum of one year experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.

  • Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by US

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.

  • Knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office products.
