Job Description: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators, and manage the lifecycle of dynamic projects. Produce business intelligence (BI) by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Deliver data-driven insights and measure future outcomes against business strategy, requirements, and deliverables. Create high quality business requirement documents and partner with cross functional teams regarding BI solutions. Partner with stakeholders to ensure delivery and integration of BI data, which is necessary for reporting capabilities consistent with project roadmap or strategic business plans as well as resolution of issues that may impact productivity, budget, economic, and market position. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Minimum Job Requirements:

 

  • Education: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics or related field.

     

  • Experience: Four (4) years of software-related, centralized and coordinated program, product, or project management experience and/or experience in designing, developing and releasing software products or services.

     

  • Specific Skills: Must include 48 months of experience in: Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release; Product Management; and Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; 36 months of experience in Data Structures; and Reporting; and 24 months of experience in Sustainability reporting and disclosures; and Machine Learning.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position TSCBK18352, based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $182,000 to $212,000.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. 

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
