The Team

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team! The Runtime and Compliance team is chartered with developing and managing a containerized set of intelligent services (skill runtime) that enable Project Sophia users to solve complex, cross-domain business problems. These services leverage the latest AI models, tools, and frameworks to drive the next wave of innovation in AI-driven software engineering. The team is also responsible for processes and product features that ensure that Project Sophia leverages AI in a safe, trustworthy, and ethical way.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Runtime and Compliance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining containerized skill runtime service, with a focus on enabling e2e analytics scenarios and intelligence quality. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges and drive business goals, all while pioneering AI-centric backend services and delivering unique experiences that differentiate Sophia in the market.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

  • Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)

  • Comfortable driving complex server architecture across large product teams

  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts is a plus

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
