Job Description: Senior Silicon Design Engineer 4
Location: Remote, but must be local to Redmond, WA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $53/hr. - $55/hr.
Contract Duration: 6 – 18 months
We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Silicon Design Engineer responsible for front-end design tasks at both block and sub-system levels. This role involves RTL design, sub-system integration, RTL generation using third-party tools, and repository management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of fabric and ARM architecture.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required:
AMBA AXI Protocol: Minimum 3+ years of strong design knowledge of the industry-standard bus interfaces.
ARM Architecture: Minimum 3+ years of experience with ARM architecture.
Digital Design Expertise: Minimum 7+ years of expertise in Digital Design, including microarchitecture specification development, RTL coding in Verilog/System Verilog, and Clock Domain Crossing (CDC)/LINT closure.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform various integration tasks at the block level.
• Conduct integration tasks at the sub-system level.
• Generate cores using Cadence Tensilica.
• Generate and integrate Network on Chips (NOCs) using Synopsys and Arteris.
• Manage repositories for shared collateral across design teams.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of ARM architecture.
• Proficiency with Cadence Tensilica cores.
• Extensive design knowledge of industry-standard bus interfaces such as AMBA AXI protocol.
• Experience working with leading-edge technologies (5 nm or smaller).
• Proficiency in managing GIT repositories.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in hardware design.
• 7+ years of expertise in Digital Design, including microarchitecture specification development, RTL coding in Verilog/System Verilog, and Clock Domain Crossing (CDC)/LINT closure.
