Job Title: Construction Project Engineer
Job Description
The Construction Project Engineer assists the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of our projects in Washington. This role is responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, and maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitability, and while complying with our Safety/Zero Harm culture. The Construction Project Engineer also manages, directs, and coordinates the subcontractor's compliance with the Contract Documents as delegated by the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager with planning and daily execution of projects.
Maintain project schedules as assigned by the Project Manager.
Manage the process of submittal approvals and coordinate the timely delivery of materials.
Maintain project schedules and budgets to ensure quality and profitability.
Ensure compliance with Safety/Zero Harm culture.
Manage, direct, and coordinate subcontractor compliance with the Contract Documents.
Essential Skills
4 to 7 years of experience working as a Project Engineer in commercial construction with a general contractor.
Experience with large commercial projects with budgets of $10M or more.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Project.
Experience running subcontractor meetings, change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
Leadership experience overseeing 1-2 junior project engineers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with change orders, submittals, punch-lists, and running subcontractor meetings.
Work Environment
This role requires 100% onsite presence at the Redmond Microsoft Campus with the Square Project. The work environment is fast-paced, supporting a large, brand-name client. The company culture includes team-building events such as a kickball league, night skiing events, and a PE boat day on Lake Union. The main office is located in downtown Seattle with panoramic views of the Seattle skyline, Space Needle, and Mt. Rainier. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00
