ManpowerGroup Program Manager (Microsoft Purview) in Redmond, Washington

Our client is seeking a Program Manager with extensive experience supporting Microsoft Purview.

Program Manager (Microsoft Purview)

Location: Remote

Pay range: $58/hr on W2

All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on W2.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.

  • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

  • Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.

  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

  • Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.

  • 5-7 years’ experience required.

Typical Day in the Role

  • Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is working in the Purview space to define how Fast Track engages with customers to help them deploy and enable the Purview workload. By conducting insights analysis and data analysis, the candidate will be developing content and training.

  • Key projects: This role will contribute to updating current playbooks and guidance to point to newer versions and updated public-facing guidance and documentation related to Microsoft Purview. There will be other Insight work and triage to identify priorities.

  • Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 25% meetings/calls with stakeholders, 40% Azure, 35% on focus work

Candidate Requirements

  • Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.

  • Degrees or certifications Degree is a preference for this role, focusing more on experiences

  • Disqualifiers: Candidates with no program/project management experience, Microsoft Purview, or Azure DevOps will not be eligible for the role.

  • Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain managing and controlling the backlog in the Azure DevOps (ADO) space. The role requires a blend of technical and management skills, including awareness and familiarity with Microsoft Purview, program management, and project management capabilities. Work samples/ portfolios is an optional.

  • Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on deadlines and quality of work

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Azure DevOps

  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, specifically in the Purview space

  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Microsoft Purview
