Job Information

Microsoft Corporation Product Marketing Manager in Redmond, Washington

Do you like to think in pictures? Do you look at a communication asset and think, “That can be simplified and elevated with a more visual approach?” If so, the Microsoft Edge for Business go-to-market team is looking for you. This is an exciting time to work on the browser, which is the most used app on the PC and in the case of Edge for Business, where AI chat is built-in.

What the role is about

The role has a split focus between visual storytelling (75% of time) and traditional product marketing to the Education audience (25% of time). If you’re someone with strong visual storytelling skills and wish to explore product marketing, this is a great introductory role.

You will oversee the operations of visual storytelling and asset creation for the team. Our stories come to life with screenshots and animations, through PowerPoint presentations, and in demos and videos. Ideally, you are someone who loves creating assets, whether it’s hands-on by you in PowerPoint and other formats / tools, or you’re giving guidance to other creators in their asset creation for our team.

Part of your time would be focused on the Education audience. You would own the pen to write customer-facing narratives and create assets specific to Education customers. You would undertake product marketing activities that may range from research, to working with account teams, to engaging with customers, to events and digital marketing.

What our team offers

We’re the worldwide go-to-market team for Microsoft Edge for Business, which is designed to serve organizations, including educational organizations, and their users. We’re a small, agile team that invests in an inclusive culture. This shows up in our close partnerships with our inbound product marketing and engineering partners.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
