Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

The Kuiper Business Solutions team owns a suite of products and services to operate and scale Kuiper. Our team owns developing the architecture, solutions & roadmap for products that are critical to operate Kuiper;

We are looking for a Product Manager to build and manage Global Field Service Management (FSM). Imagine building a global service and fulfillment network, starting from customer facing surfaces to order; to designing and building first, middle and last mile fulfillment and warehousing network from ground up; to designing API and interfaces to integrate with 2P/3P providers; to integrating with Kuiper network to activate satellite internet and troubleshoot. Now imagine building this in countries even Amazon doesn't have presence in, and supporting both residential and enterprise customers. If this something that excites you, we should talk!

As the principal Product Manager, you will own the product vision, strategy of this product suite and ensuring that it translates to a world class set of products that will delight our customers, stakeholders and partners.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will work directly with customers, engineering teams, business and operational partners to define Kuiper service offerings via expertly crafted working backwards, business requirements documents which can easily be translated into product and engineering deliverables.

You will work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. The candidate must have clear business judgment, dive deep into data, have core writing skills and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews.

**This role is located in Redmond, WA and candidate will be required to be onsite. No location flexibility.

A day in the life

You will be part of a startup team that will tackle a broad set of greenfield problems and define the suite of products that will help Kuiper operate and scale. You will work with Engineering and Business Stakeholders on defining the roadmap for the suite of products necessary for Kuiper's operation. You will own solving this for multiple customer segments and building software that is flexible for many different customers and countries. You will create detailed product requirements documents based on an intimate knowledge of the specific customer verticals including use case prioritization, feature definition and product roadmap. You will set the customer product strategy and make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch.

About the team

The Software and Networking organization is responsible for all of the software, services and infrastructure needed to securely and safely fly each Kuiper satellite, manage Kuiper's satellite constellation, control Kuiper's ground infrastructure and deliver highly available network services to our customers around the world.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in industry and/or academia.

• 7+ years product management and/or business leadership experience within a telecommunications or technology company

• 7+ years of proven track record of delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple competing priorities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
