Microsoft Corporation Principal Business Program Manager, Business & Industry Cloud Specialist Team in Redmond, Washington

The BAP Business Acceleration Solutions (BAS) is a COO-like function with a core mission to Accelerate strategic growth to drive key business results for D365 Business Applications and Power Platform. Leveraging the strength of the D365 gross margin (GM), the BAS team will focus on driving Strategic Initiatives to deliver accelerated growth and deep dive to deliver key results for BAP products and the Dataverse Platform. The foundation of the team is to partner with Product engineering to accelerate cross-BAP and cross-functional collaboration results.

As a Business Program Management Specialist in the BAS team, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of our Go To Market (GTM) Investment Management strategic initiative (aka Lighthouse) with accountability for incremental revenue and market growth. This opportunity will allow you to develop strong financial management and operational skills and become adept in effectively collaborating across a complex organization to drive clear business results.

Responsibilities

  • Mega Deals Acceleration: Lead strategy and execution for securing high-value, complex agreements with top enterprise customers.

  • Copilot Studio Expansion: Drive the adoption and expansion of AI-powered solutions, ensuring market penetration and customer success.

  • Enterprise Growth Leadership: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that enhance engagement and revenue growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align solutions with customer needs and market demands.

  • Strategic Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Manage high-stakes negotiations and create innovative deal structures to maximize business impact.

  • Market Positioning & Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage insights to drive strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement

o OR equivalent experience.

· 6+ years experience managing top-tier accounts and navigating complex deal cycles

· 4+ years experience in AI-Driven Solutions, SaaS or enterprise technology

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving ability ranging from conceptualization to implementation

  • Demonstrated collaboration skills supporting clear product and/or customer success criteria

  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate at all levels

  • Exceptional leadership acumen with demonstrated success in "engaging virtual teams" with ability to influence others and ensure results

  • Ability to coach and collaborate effectively with field teams, customers, and product teams to ensure customer success

Business Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
