Description Overview We are seeking a contract Lab Operations Tech to support our team by assisting with the receipt, inspection, and validation of hardware consoles in our software test labs. This role involves unboxing, sorting, palletizing, and inventory management of hardware consoles. You will also conduct health validations to assess whether the consoles can continue their service life. Proficiency in Windows 11 and Microsoft Office Suite is essential for completing these tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Unbox, sort, palletize, and inventory hardware consoles. Perform health validations to evaluate the functionality and service life of consoles. Review process documentation and follow established workflows. Manage inventory, including scanning serial numbers, collecting SKU details, and entering data into inventory management software. Utilize Excel, Word, PowerShell, and other Microsoft Office tools for data entry and reporting tasks. Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience in a technical or operational role, ideally in a high-tech environment. Familiarity with inventory management software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Preferred Skills Proficiency in PowerShell. 2+ years of experience with datasheets or relational databases. Previous experience in IT operations. Advanced knowledge of Windows 11. Physical and Environmental Requirements Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Repeated lifting and movement of items weighing 10 pounds. Ability to lift items weighing 10 pounds above shoulder height. Willingness to work in a lab or data center environment that may recommend hearing protection. Ability to work in a sitting or standing position for up to 8 hours per day.
