About the Role:
The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Sr Analyst is responsible for supporting a dynamic team of facility management and project professionals operating a client account. This position is responsible for providing ad hoc, rapid HSE support to our peer teams in service of a client account.
The successful candidate is highly organized and able to coordinate multiple activities within tight timelines. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and be able to troubleshoot and provide technical expertise on ad hoc HSE inquiries in support of the account.
What You'll Do:
First and foremost, you’re an engaged team member on a collaborative team, committed to supporting compliance and HSE programs for the good of the account, our client and our fellow team members
Provide ad hoc, rapid HSE support to our peer teams in service of a client account
Key activities will include safety plan reviews, construction plan reviews, injury investigations, confined space assessments, and ensuring safety plans are appropriate and in place
Identify improvements and opportunities to create efficiencies in activities and programs
Aid in maintaining specific plans, playbooks, and procedures for the assigned account or market area, making certain playbooks are current, complete, and implemented.
Perform safety investigations to determine root cause(s) and communicate findings with diplomacy & tact
Function as an Environmental Health and Safety resource to staff and internal customers.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
Help interpret and apply HSE environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements to client account
Make a positive impact on a range of customers (internal and external)
Assist the Client account project management team in HSE project risk assessments to ensure appropriate safety considerations are applied to all high-risk endeavors and help interpret and apply HSE environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements to client account project management activities
Be able to conduct research and review activities on a wide variety of topics and initiatives in the areas of health, safety and environment, and be able to summarize and communicate to your manager
Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must to be successful in this position
Well-developed ability to track, organize and communicate large amounts of information
Have moderate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office

What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university in an environmental, health and/or safety program or equivalent.In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in emergency response and/or occupational health and safety considered an asset.
Certification in one of the following is preferred but not mandatory: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST).
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities within tight timelines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must to be successful in this position
Well-developed ability to track, organize and communicate large amounts of information
Possess broad knowledge of the OSHA requirements and carry out all duties in accordance with applicable legislation including (but not limited to) Washington State legislation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The successful candidate must be partnership driven and have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong ability to write communications, memos, presentations, and other communication collaterals a must.
Oral communication and ability to work with others in a collaborative and constructive manner is absolutely required.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the HSE Sr Analyst position is $62,500 annually [or $30.05 per hour] and the maximum salary for the HSE Sr Analyst position is $116,000 annually [or $55.77 per hour]. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
