Our high profile technology client is seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer for a 6 month REMOTE contract assignment. As a Hardware Design Engineer on this team, you will contribute to the AI accelerator and Cobalt lines for compute purposes. You will support analog mixed signal IP design, focusing on projects like I/O’s, voltage references, and multiple sensors. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in hardware design, physical design like Synthesis, Automated Place and Route, and EDA tools such as Synopsys ICC, Primetime or Design Compiler to align successfully with this organization.

Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer

Location: Remote | USA

Pay Range: $78-83/HR on Experis W2

What’s the Job?

• Own and drive floorplanning and design planning for optimizing Mixed-Signal IPs with Analog and Digital components

• Own and drive execution from synthesis to place and route of IPs, all signoff including timing signoff, physical verification, EMIR signoff , Formal Equivalence, and Low Power Verification.

• Define Analog / Digital interfaces to facilitate design convergence and optimize power delivery for optimal performance (topmetal & bump planning)

• Have close collaboration with RTL team to help drive and resolve design issues related to toplevel and block closure.

• Influence tools, flows, and overall design methodology in design construction, signoff, and optimization with a data driven approach.

What’s Needed?

• BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering

• 8+ years of overall experience

• 7+ years of experience with hardware design

• 7+ years of experience with Physical Design (Synthesis, Automated Place and Route)

• Experience in EDA tools such as Synopsys ICC, Primetime, Design Compiler
