Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Financial Analysis & Controls professional to join our team. This role is fully remote and focuses on managing and improving financial processes for the construction of data center buildings supporting cloud and AI technologies. This is a short-term position ending on 6/30/25, with a possibility of extension based on future needs.
Responsibilities
Perform monthly Purchase Order activities by leveraging work done by accounting and operations teams.
Develop and deploy a detailed process for Purchase Orders transactions within the business group.
Deliver timely and accurate business insights for financial forecasting, budget, and close cycles based on purchase order details.
Drive purchase order process improvement across all segments within the business.
Ensure business adherence to company policies and procedures when contracting with suppliers, fostering a compliance-first culture.
Essential Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience with managing P&L budget for large enterprise tech companies.
Minimum 2 years of experience with deploying and executing new financial projects/processes from fundamentals.
Minimum 1 year of experience with internal financial tools.
5-10 years of experience in a financial analysis/controller position.
Deep analytical and reporting capabilities, including leveraging internal tools, reporting cubes, BI tools, and other financial systems.
Desire to solve problems at multiple altitudes, from strategic high-level framing to detailed analysis.
Leadership skills, proactively driving and delivering high-impact results through both individual and team efforts.
Partnering capabilities, influencing others without direct authority, and appropriately pushing back when required.
Effectively managing and prioritizing multiple inputs, tasks, and stakeholders, sometimes under tight deadlines.
Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast-paced business environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
No degree required.
Previous experience with contract management is preferred.
Great data and financial analysis skills.
Ability to build robust reports in Excel or PowerBI is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is fully remote, with an estimated workload of 40 hours per week. The initial 30 days will involve familiarization with the team and current processes, followed by continuous collaboration with key stakeholders and implementation of new financial projects and processes. The role offers the unique opportunity to work in a competitive and rapidly evolving industry, contributing to the construction of data centers focused on AI.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
