The Global Demand Center team is looking for a highly talented Business Program Manager (BPM)- Marketing Operations to help drive its marketing operations and reporting efforts for our GitHub pre-sales business. In this role, you’ll be the execution “glue” for a high-performing team of marketing professionals with a variety of skills (Marketing Technologists, Platform Specialists, Data Analysts, Content Strategist, Marketers, and others) to drive buyers to make the right choice for GitHub and Microsoft. You’ll have the unique opportunity to be a thought leader at the intersection of marketing and technology to help take the Marketing Operations business to new heights of innovation and results.

Responsibilities

• Being a modern marketing technology leader! Understanding marketing technology opportunities and guiding the team to the implementation approaches to best suit ultimate business goals.

• Being the subject matter expert for the end-to-end Global Demand Center Marketing Operations ecosystem, establishing the tools and processes to support management of incoming requests and driving a v-team to evaluate, prioritize and deliver against those requests.

• Engaging with business stakeholders and Senior Leaders across teams to frame, structure and prioritize operational solutions to drive operational efficiencies.

• Establishing baseline measurements to enable the identification, quantification, and ability to measure improvements in our operating model to reduce time, skill, and overall costs.

• Building and manage operational analytics reports working alongside key roles in our end-to-end ecosystem, who will leverage the solutions you build in their day-to-day roles.

• Working across tech workstreams and business teams to drive system/tool changes to support business priorities and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years’ experience working with diverse teams and managing projects with business context

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ year(s) technology/process improvement experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Dynamic 365 (Project Operations module), Azure DevOps, Power BI, and PowerPoint skills.

  • Experience and passion for data-led decision making, reporting and measurement.

  • Big desire to improve process and make things more efficient.

  • Self-starter, ambitious, eager to dive in, and get work done.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with ability to develop tight collaborative relationships.

Marketing Technology IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
