Microsoft Corporation Business Administrator in Redmond, Washington

We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Business Administrator to join our Microsoft Security Management team. This role supports the Management Intune team, which delivers mobile device and application management solutions.

As part of the Microsoft Security division, you’ll report to Vice president of our PM Organization.We value attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to handle multiple requests. This Business Administrator thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains confidentiality, and collaborates across diverse backgrounds. Adaptability, initiative, and a positive attitude are key. Responsibilities

  • Calendar Management: Strategically manage the VP of Management PM Organization’s calendar, aligning with leaders’ preferences and business priorities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between executives and teams, gathering information and communicating with external partners.

  • Team Support: Contribute to workplace culture, manage distribution groups, and assist with new hire onboarding and employee departures.

  • Rhythm of Business (ROB): Execute business cadence and support successful goal delivery.

  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute team events, offsites, and town halls.

  • Travel Management: Arrange travel using Microsoft tools and ensure compliance with policies.

  • Space Management: Maintain team spaces and liaise with space planners.

  • Budget Management: Handle expense reports and approvals.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.

  • The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others.

  • 3+ years experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training)

Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $28.46 - $48.80 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $39.76 - $55.67 per hour.
