Job Title: Associate Project Manager - Individual ContributorJob Description

The primary responsibility of the Associate Project Manager, Enterprise PMO is to use project management techniques to support the Emergency Care business. This role, under general supervision, will support project(s) or phase(s) of a moderately complex program that encompasses business systems or regulatory/compliance projects. This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgment in applying professional expertise, and one is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the project charter and/or develop a sub-project charter and management plan. Recommend tradeoffs within the project.

  • Assist in defining and managing project scope; review with a manager for approval. Outline major workstreams.

  • Complete assigned tasks according to the established timeline. Assist in the development of a detailed project Gantt chart. Manage a sub-project timeline.

  • Collaborate with supervisor and/or project PM to establish a sub-project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.

  • Partner with sub-project teams to establish project Quality Plans. Monitor and maintain plans.

  • Create a risk register and management plan for the sub-project. Identify, analyze and understand project risks and develop sub-project risk response plan.

  • Participate in the development of a Procurement Management Plan.

  • Develop a sub-project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements. Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Work with project or program manager to provide input to functional performance reviews.

  • Create a Stakeholder register for the sub-project and assist in the preparation of a Stakeholder management plan.

  • Support the development of a project communications management plan or develop a sub-project communications plan.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in project management tools such as Project Portfolio Management system, MS Office, SharePoint, and JIRA or Trello.

  • Experience in working in a regulated environment.

  • PMP, CAPM or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Knowledge of EU MDR and/or FDA Medical device requirements is preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe Suite).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • BS or equivalent & 2+ years of work experience.

  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset.

  • Effective communicator and presenter.

  • Able to consolidate large amounts of data and make timely decisions.

  • Understand the importance of networking and utilizing that network to improve individual job performance.

Work Environment

The role follows a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite. Day-to-day activities include general project management with oversight and some research related to markets and regulations. Developing and implementing project plans to ensure products are available in multiple countries. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00
