Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Assistant to provide general administrative support for a team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask, adapt to a dynamic work environment, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks and supporting the team with high levels of accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support for the team.

  • Onboard new hires and manage office space.

  • Coordinate and set up events, including room reservations and catering logistics.

  • Ensure compliance with administrative operational policies and procedures.

  • Support the Executive Assistant with general tasks and requests.

  • Procure goods and services, including computer equipment, office supplies, and facilities requests.

  • Provide exceptional customer service.

  • Prioritize tasks with appropriate urgency and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with large team support, preferably in a data center or cloud services environment.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.

  • Ability to conduct self-research and learn new applications and tools.

  • Proficiency with productivity software such as Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and MS Teams.

  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

  • Capability to work independently and handle ambiguity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • A degree is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Experience in data entry, calendar management, and clerical tasks.

  • Ability to take effective action without having the complete picture.

  • Track record of accountability, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Work Environment

This is a full-time onsite position located in Redmond, WA, requiring 5 days a week of attendance. The role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a top company, with no micromanagement involved. Standard equipment such as a laptop, mouse, headset, and an extra monitor will be provided. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to work well under pressure and independently.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
