Aerotek 06 Journeyman Electrician in Redmond, Washington

We are Hiring for 06 Journeyman Electricians for a project in Redmond, WA !

Will be handling the installation, maintenance and repair of structured cabling systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. This role requires a strong understanding of network infrastructure, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently. This would be a short term project of 2-3 weeks.

Job Description :

  • Installation & Termination: Install, route, and terminate various types of cables (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, fiber optic) in both indoor and outdoor environments. Work with technologies including computer, voice, wireless access points, CCTV, access control, and point of sale systems.

  • System Design: Assist in designing and laying out cabling systems to meet customer requirements and industry standards.

  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform testing and troubleshooting of cable installations to ensure performance standards are met.

  • Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local building codes.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, service requests, and maintenance activities.

  • Project Management: Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely project completion.

  • Safety Practices: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support and guidance. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Pay rate : $30-47/hr depending on the experience.

Schedule : Monday - Friday : 6AM - 2:30PM

Qualification :

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications preferred.

  • Must have 06 Journeyman Card.

  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and cabling systems.

  • Proficiency with cabling tools and equipment (tools provided), excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks requiring physical labor (must be able to carry 30 lbs).
