Goodhue County Social Worker- Child Protection in Red Wing, Minnesota
Interviews prospective clients at intake. Conducts child protection assessments and investigations according to state guidelines and laws, and/or works with child protection families on an ongoing basis to address risk factors and increase safety. Coordinates services for families and individuals to increase safety. Provides written court reports and court testimony as needed. Places and supervises children in foster home placements. Completes thorough and timely documentation. Conduct forensically sound, person-centered interviews to collect information about families, assess the safety and well- being of children, and develop plans to ensure safety and access to resources. Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team with law enforcement, the county attorney s office, and other community agencies.
