Job Title: Welder

Job Description

Candidates will be performing Mig Welding on different projects daily, including trash cans, park benches, grills, and playground equipment. This will involve reading blueprints to understand how each project needs to be welded.

1st Shift: M-Th, 5am - 3:30pm

2nd Shift: M-Th, 3:30pm - 2am

**Friday OT as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform Mig Welding on various projects such as trash cans, park benches, grills, and playground equipment.

• Read and interpret blueprints to execute welding tasks accurately.

• Utilize grinders and power tools as part of the welding process.

• Ensure quality and precision in all welding tasks.

Essential Skills

• Mig Welding

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• 6+ months of welding experience (can include a degree from a college)

• Experience working with grinders and power tools

• Capability to stand on feet for 10-hour shifts

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Fabrication experience

• Production welding experience

Work Environment

The work environment is a typical production facility with multiple welding bays operating simultaneously. It can be loud at times and is not climate-controlled. Employees should be prepared to work in a setting with scraps and various materials present.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Bud, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
