Count Basie Theatre, Inc Arts Academy Administrative Assistant in Red Bank, New Jersey
This is a Part-Time, non-exempt position and includes eligibility to participate in the Basies 401(k)-retirement plan with company match.
The hourly pay rate is $20/hr. The work schedule is Monday through Friday for 20 hours per week. Hours may vary by day between the hours of 2:30pm and 8:30pm.

Job Description: Under the direction of the Director of Education and the general direction of the Vice President of Education and Outreach, the Arts Academy Assistant will support the organizations education efforts through administrative assistance for the day-to-day ongoings of all Academy programs, supporting students, and maintaining relationships with staff, partners, parents, and teaching artists.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
Learn all administrative duties of the Count Basie Centers Turner Academy of the Arts: Interfacing with parents and students Supporting students in getting to their lessons/classes Responding to and fielding student and parent questions and needs Supporting the registration process and software Supporting calendars and class schedules Assist with studio set up May be requested for special events, nights and weekends as needed/available Other duties as assigned Requirements & Skills: Bilingual (Spanish) required Previous non-profit arts education/administration or experience in a related field Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with staff at all levels, and interact with patrons, students, teachers, parents, and community members Detail oriented, self-starter, with strong organizational and time management skills Must be a team player and be able to work in a fast-paced environment and across departments Strong skills in database management and all Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills
