We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in READING, Pennsylvania for an experienced Staff Accountant. As a Staff Accountant, you will be playing a vital role in our payroll area, managing 401k administration and utilizing Excel formulas for efficient accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration of 401k - RRSP, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.

• Utilize Excel formulas to optimize accounting procedures and maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle the processing and management of payroll, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement.

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurate.

• Monitor and manage customer accounts, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role in the accounting field.

• Extensive knowledge and practical application of General Ledger.

• Proficiency in Excel and ability to use advanced Excel Formulas.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.

• Good communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
