Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This role is centered around the logistics industry where you will be instrumental in ensuring that all shipping and receiving operations run smoothly in our distribution center.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of paperwork for every shipment leaving the distribution center

• Manage customer service inquiries and resolve them timely and effectively

• Maintain up-to-date customer records

• Conduct clerical duties associated with shipping and receiving functions including data entry

• Oversee the shipping functions within the distribution center to ensure efficiency

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.

Requirements • Must possess strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and resolve issues.

• Familiarity with and understanding of shipping functions is required.

• Must be able to accurately manage and complete paperwork pertaining to shipping and receiving tasks.

• Should have experience in performing clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and record keeping.

• Knowledge of shipping procedures, including packaging, labeling, and tracking shipments, is essential.

• Experience working in distribution centers is preferred, with an understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
