JOB DESCRIPTION:

• FOLLOWS ALL SAFETY PROCEDURES AND WORKS IN A SAFE MANNER

• READ AND FOLLOW WORK ORDER INSTRUCTIONS

• USE KABA BENSING TERMINAL

• SETUP SAW

• OPERATES SAW TO ACCURATELY PRODUCE PARTS WITHIN TOLERANCES

• CHANGE SAW BLADES

• WELDS SAW BLADES

• SETUP SANDER

• CHANGE SANDING BELTS

• OPERATES ALL LIFTING DEVICES

• UNDERSTANDS MATERIAL GRADES AND MARKING

• UNDERSTANDS AND COMPLETES MATERIAL ISSUE AND RETURN SHEETS

• SELECTS MATERIAL FROM STAGING AREA

• USE OF ESS TERMINAL

• RETURNS MATERIAL TO RETURN AREA AND INVENTORY

• UNDERSTANDS AND COMPLETES FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION FORMS AND ALL

• PERFORMS BASIC MATH FUNCTIONS

• REQUIRES MINIMAL SUPERVISION

• KEEPS WORK AREA CLEAN

• PERFORMS SPECIAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

MUST HAVES:

• READ A TAPE MEASURE WITHIN 1/32”

• READ A VERNIER WITHIN 0.005” (CALIPER)

• BASIC MATH FUNCTIONS (ADDITION, SUBTRACTION, MULTIPLICATION, DIVISION)

• CONVERT FRACTIONS TO DECIMALS

• FORK TRUCK TRAINING

• WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS , LOW-LEVEL DECISION MAKING SKILLS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS ARE VERY IMPORTANT

• ABILITY TO WORK WELL WITHOUT CLOSE SUPERVISION AND STRONG ANALYSIS/PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS ARE SOMEWHAT IMPORTANT.
