Job Purpose
Perform a wide range of physical activities associated with Maintenance of Operations and Facility:
Ability to repair various types of manufacturing equipment.
Plan, layout and install mechanical devices and/or mechanical systems meeting regulatory and local codes.
Fabricate simple structures by welding or bolting using prints and/or diagrams.
Troubleshoot mechanical components of equipment such a bearings, gearboxes, pumps, chain drives, etc.
Read and follow equipment schematics and equipment service manuals.
Maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
Perform additional duties as required.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
Experience in hydraulics, plumbing, welding and basic electrical troubleshooting.
Experience using industrial control systems including PLC and PID.
3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferred.
Dedicated to the concept of an injury-free environment.
Can follow LOTO, Confined Space Entry and all other plant safety regulations.
Strong analytical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities of varying complexities.
Working knowledge of measuring equipment including tape measure, micrometers, voltage meter, etc.
Ability to read and comprehend MSDS sheets, SOPs and JSAs.
High school level or equivalent reading, writing, mathematical and comprehension skills.
Physically able to perform work assignments including heavy lifting.
Good verbal communication, organization and decision making skills.
Available to rotate to any shift.
Team player.

The salary range for this position is $24.23- $32.40. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
