Our client, is a leading provider of thermoformed packaging solutions used in a wide range of industries and applications globally is seeking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician.

Location: Reading PA

Pay Range: $21- $23/hr

Shift: 2nd shift

What’s the Job?

• Troubleshoot simple machinery for faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical malfunctions and repair/replace as required.

• Request maintenance assistance when needed. Make minor machine repairs and/or adjustments whenever requested by Supervisor.

• Fabricate simple fixtures, parts, tools and support equipment by utilizing machine shop practices and equipment, i.e.: lathe, milling machines, drill presses, saws, welder, and hand tools.

• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems using schematics as necessary. Maintain all support machinery, i.e.: air compressors, cooling towers etc.

• Repair material handling equipment and perform periodic preventive maintenance as directed.

• Order necessary parts and tools with approval of Supervisor.

• Maintain daily log of important job activities as information for subsequent shifts and management.

What’s Needed?

• A can-do positive attitude

• 3-5 years of experience performing maintenance tasks within a manufacturing

• Mechanical knowledge

• Strong attention to detail

• Analytical abilities

• Experienced in multiple functions including electrical diagnostics, servo drives, carpentry, plumbing, fabrication, machine repair
