Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Reading, Pennsylvania. As a part of our team, you will be tasked with handling critical accounting functions, using industry-specific software to manage billing procedures, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be expected to closely coordinate with different teams to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications.

• Keep up-to-date and accurate records of the customer's credit.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any billing discrepancies.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.

• Collaborate with the collections team, customer service, and sales to address billing issues.

• Process returns and credits in a timely manner.

• Carry out account reconciliations, including tracking outstanding payments and following up with customers.

• Utilize software and other technologies to track business transactions and improve workflow efficiency.

• Create financial and operational reports to assess business performance.

• Ensure the accuracy of billing information by regularly updating customer records.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Must be familiar with Computerized Billing

• Knowledge of EHR SYSTEM is necessary

• Proficiency in Epic Software is desired

• Must have experience with About Time

• Understanding of Accounting Functions is required

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Must have knowledge in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls is required
