We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Reading, PA. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy of customer accounts and maintaining healthy cash flow. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage customer accounts in a detail oriented and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and post incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner.

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly recorded.

• Generate and distribute invoices, statements, and account summaries as needed.

• Perform light collections duties, including following up with customers on outstanding balances via phone or email while maintaining a courteous and detail oriented demeanor.

• Address customer inquiries related to billing, payments, or discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

• Assist in month-end close by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

• Support internal teams by providing accounts receivable information as required. Maintain compliance with company policies and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive data.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or coursework in accounting is a plus).

Previous experience in accounts receivable or light collections is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software required

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with a detail oriented approach to collections.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
