Adecco US, Inc. Production Analyst in Ravenswood, West Virginia

We are recruiting for a Production Analyst for a client in West Virginia, this client is a global metal manufacturer supplying aerospace, automotive, and other industries. This client has been named on the Forbes List of 'Best Workplaces for Women' along with Time's "Best Places to Work" in 2023.

The West Virginia facility employs roughly 1100 and is undergoing many ongoing capital improvement projects. This client believes in on the job mentoring and advancement from within whenever feasible, company culture is high on their priority list as well.

This position offers a salary of $85-95K with full benefits, including automatic and matching 401K plan, bonus eligibility, relocation assistance available, health, prescription, vision, dental, disability, and life insurance benefits.

The Production Analyst is a highly visible role with direct interaction with all levels of sales and operations leadership up to the executive level and plays a critical part in the short, medium and long-term production planning process of the facility, specifically, this position:

  • Serves as the primary contact in operations for the inside and outside sales teams for supply chain issues including capacity, lead times, and mill loading

  • Participates in and drives supply chain related Continuous Improvement efforts

  • Planning and execution of the monthly Sales and Operation process utilizing the supply chain optimization software package (Quintiq Macro Planner)

  • Reviews and balances the Master Production Schedule weekly

  • Oversees management of finished goods inventory programs, and resolves conflicts/discrepancies between customer requirements and operational constraints.

  • Utilizes spreadsheets and database analysis tool developments, to manage supply chain issues between customers and sales, and prepare presentations as required

  • Function as backup when necessary for select metal management-, production scheduling- and production planning functions

Candidates must possess for consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain (Industrial Engineering preferred).

  • Strong concept-development and programming skills: ability to (independently) simulate and resolve complex supply chain problems utilizing internal tools offered by Excel (pivot tables, Visual Basic macro programming, database queries, etc.

  • 3-5 years relevant work experience (including internships/co-ops)

  • Experience in metals production or other heavy industry preferred.

  • Experience with process optimization software preferred (Quintiq Macro Planner or similar).

  • Exposure to Continuous Improvement processes (especially Lean) preferred.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
