For our Site in Raunheim we are looking for a

Projectmanager Engineering (m/f/d)

Position Summary:

This position plans and executes New Product Introduction of new pyrometer products. The primary focus is on managing schedule, scope, budget and internal communication for leading edge, highly engineered technology in the semi-conductor and industrial markets. This position works with cross-functional teams to develop and meet project schedules and KPIs. This position manages and monitors projects from inception to completion, assuring on time and on budget delivery of new products.

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead a team of engineers, supply chain, marketing and manufacturing professionals through the Product Development Process including:

  • Scope the work required for new products.

  • Develop comprehensive, integrated plans to meet aggressive business commitments for new products.

  • Create/maintain project plans and timelines using relevant project management tools to identify milestones and deliverables.

  • Drive execution to meet or exceed program targets

  • Monitor and quantify progress of engineering efforts

  • Develop qualification plans and reports

  • Effectively communicate status and results to senior management and external customers.

  • Plan, direct, and monitor schedules and budget/spending. Report on budget/spending status to Finance group.

  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change. Ensures completion of the project i.e. product meets requirements, on schedule and within budget constraints.

  • Contribute to relevant design / development processes as appropriate

Qualification:

  • Fluent in English, able to speak, create presentations, and communicate technical details internally and to customers.

  • Fluent in German, able to speak, create presentations, and communicate technical details internally and to customers.

Experience:

Essential:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate project management, new product introduction, or product management.

  • Strong history of Project Leadership and successfully managing high performancecross-functional teams towards a common goal.

Preferred:

  • Experience as design engineer, preferably in electronics or optics.

  • Previous experience in managing multiple

  • 5+ years of experience in managing large, cross-functional teams and projects (indirect + direct reports)

  • 10+ years of experience in a high-tech engineering or manufacturing environment

Education:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management, or closely related field or a combination of relevant experience and/or educationthat is equivalent to a minimum of five year experience.

Preferred :

  • PMP certification

  • PMI certification

  • Master’s degree in Engineering
