We are currently seeking experienced Framers and all skill levels of Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry, particularly in framing, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality workmanship in a timely manner. As a Framing Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and frameworks made of wood and other materials according to project specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and stairs
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other carpenters, contractors, and construction professionals as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Framing Carpenter or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and nail guns
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation
